Shatter Proof iPhone - Is It Waterproof Too?

I'm an Apple fan. Admittedly I do not have a Mac computer but we do have an iPad 2, Mini-iPad and 2 iPhone 4's in the house - between the 4 of us. 1 of whom is 2 years old.

We also have all the cables and wires and chargers that we can possibly have, both upstairs and downstairs.

And in the car.

Many times our kitchen table looks like this

As of yet, we have not broken any Apple device to the point of needing to replace it completely. That is mainly due top the fact that we make sure to not hit it with hammers, electric drills or anything similar.

If we were to do that, then we would buy this product, as tested by the good folks over at Business Insider:

And no guys, the upgrade to iOS 7 did not make your phone waterproof. A ziploc bag can do the job quite nicely though...

I do enjoy me some new music, and Pomplamoose is one of my fave new bands. I've written about them when they did a great cover of Angry Birds music.

And here they are again, showing just what great musicians and indeed, actors and dancers, they are as they begin the change from popular music to electronic:

What do you think?

And if you go and look at the old videos you'll see how Jack changes his style...

Google - really? I'm that thick?

Oy! Google!!

Cut it out. Okay, I get it, you have access to my email, my photos and videos and even some of my purchases around the interwebs but now you are just taking the mickey.

As you may know I work in a Google environment. I love Google and all that they stand for. Google circles? Still getting my head around that one but otherwise, Google me blue, red, yellow and green.

But stop!

What is this?

I'm in the back end of a website doing statistical analysis of their traffic and you feel I need to know what an iPad looks like? And even if I didn't know, how will the look of a device help my analysis?

Yes Google, I love you dearly, but you caught me on a bad day.

Song A Day: 1000 Days and Counting

I've been spending a lot of time on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn over the 'Season' and I found some very interesting stuff.

I found a great album by Jonny Cash - American V: A Hundred Highways

I spent nearly 20 minutes creating my new Facebook timeline picture. With pictures from Facebook.

I started listening to Grooveshark all over the place.

I started using Tweetlogix for all of my Twitter needs (@jumblerant)

I started using Flipboard on my iPhone - and my son keeps deleting it. So I keep adding it.

And then I found this nugget of greatness. This amazing introduction to a chap who I will be keeping my eye on in 2012;

I'm looking forward to hearing some great, adequate and crappy songs.
